October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. DAV sponsored a personal hygiene and female necessities drive in each office that includes soaps, shampoos, deodorants, new bras, underwear and socks to be donated to Safe Harbor Shelter. Read more…
DAV volunteers spent time at the Feedmore Foodbank preparing the Meals on Wheels program meals for those in need. Termed “Feedmore Fridays”, nearly 45 employees volunteered their time on September 20, 27 and October 4.
The committee organized a DVD donation drive collecting 478 total DVDs. Seventy-five of the DVDs were donated to the children’s hospital and 403 were donated to the McGuire VA Medical Center.

In April 2019, DAV launched a Community Relations Outreach Committee to give back to our community. The committee quickly formed and began its focus on making a greater impact environmentally by adopting an inter-office recycling program. The program has already made an impact in reducing trash.
